FULL MOON PARTY SAFETY AND TRAVEL TIPS
Bring cash only. DO NOT BRING your passport or credit card or wallet.
Wear something comfortable like a tank top and shorts. Shoes probably because many broken glasses on the beach.
DO NOT WALK ALONE IN DARK AREAS, especially along the rocky side at both ends of the beach.
Watch your belongings, especially your phone. Many snatchers around.
NEVER EVER BUY DRUGS from people offering on the beach or street. All of them are connected with the police.
The beach will be very crowded from midnight so do not lose each other.
The van will pick us up between 5:00-5:30pm. Speedboat leaves at 6:00pm.
You will receive a return badge at the pier. DO NOT LOSE IT. You will pay again if you lose it. No excuses.
Once you arrive at Haadrin Pier in Koh Phangan, please take note of the staff uniform, name of the boat and the way to the beach so you know how to go back.
Pay the Entrance Fee of 200 baht when you arrived in Haadrin Pier. In exchange, they will give you a rubberized bracelet as a souvenir. This money will be used to clean the beach the next day.
We will walk to Moonlan Bar where the gay party will be so you know the location. Then you can explore around, have dinner and come back around 8-9pm.
Coming back to Koh Samui there will be a lot of people queueing for the boat so please be very patient. Come 30mins before the boat leaves.
You can join the 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am boat. When you arrive at Samui pier, you can tell the staff your hotel name and they will guide you to a designated van for drop off.
My assistance will be very limited once we arrive in Koh Phangan so please be safe always and stay away from trouble.
